Hello,
We are having some systems with Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB shutdown unprompted. We are not seeing a BSOD prior to the shutdowns. The event viewer shows id 6008. I am trying to locate more detailed information about the specific events, but can't locate any ".dmp" files in the windows/livekernelreports/watchdog/ directories. It does not seem to be thermal related as the CPU, fans, etc. all are operating normally and temperature logging finds nothing out of the ordinary for hardware or ambient air temperature.
Is there a way to tell just from the event viewer information what specifically triggered the shutdown action? We think the issue it is related to an I/O card or cards, but there are several I/O cards and the shutdowns do not happen every time they are accessed, so I'm looking for something to guide me towards the culprit. The systems are in not part of a domain and have no remote shutdown capabilities.
Thank You.
