I was reading about privacy and permissions, how desktop apps don't need permissions to access personal info and microphone and camera access. They said that these apps are launched using.EXE. What the article didn't say was how do you tell if an app is a desktop app. Can someone tell me, my last computer got a bad virus and it was an .EXE file. That scares me. I would like to be able to tell before I install or download. Thanks in advance.
