Hi,
I have some computers with Windows 8.1 in my environment. Firewall is disabled. Remote desktop connection is enabled, and service 'Remote Desktop Services' is running.
Netstat shows 0.0.0.0 3389 TCP and UDP listening, and if from a computer of the same network I do a Telnet to the ip of the computer and 3389 port, it appears to work. But if I try to connect to it through remote desktop connection, I get a message 'Unexpected error' or 'Cannot connect to the computer, veryfy remote desktop services are up and available', depending on the computer from which I try.
I have tried checking and unchecking the Allow only connections with network authentication level, but the results are the same.
Any idea about what can be happening and how to enable remote desktop access to those computers?
