This message shows up at the end of every scan along with the normal message.
"Windows Defender Antivirus scan skipped an item due to exclusion or network scanning settings"
My MO is to do a Defender then Malwearbytes then CCleaner scan at every shut down, as of last Tuesday somewhere around noon I've been getting this message along with the normal scan result -0- threats. I've never messed with anything in Defender or my modem or router, I only run the program.
I noticed there had been an update earlier in the day. I called son-in-law, he looked over, ran scan, tested printer connection then did a search on his phone and said it was a known bug?
My wife runs Defender scans on her laptop and she doesn't get the above message. I assumed if it was a bug introduced during the update and that it was known on the internet that it would have been corrected after a week.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
