Hello everybody,
handling with user profiles has been a pain for years.
At least up to windows xp it was possible, to just copy the profile and then edit the remained hard-coded paths in the registry.
But for a long time now, not even this works anymore.
I've already tried some 3rd party tools, but unfortunately nothing really works reliably.
Why is it made so difficult?
And why do the software developers not using more variables in the registry instead of hard-coding the paths?
That would make handling a lot easier, or do I not get something?
How do you do this?
Reliably clone a user's profile to another?
Adopt one profile from an older device or a backup.
Customizing the default profil without sysprepping it every time.
Thanks for any advice!
Greetings,
Martin
