Hi,
I decide myself to post on a forum after having searched for several weeks
My trouble is :
My computer, HP ZBook15 G2 on Windows 10 Pro(more information here : http://speccy.piriform.com/results/dMpOrT8QNFoun3oZolNFWHx)
- doesn't shut down,
- doesn't restart
- doesn't hibernate
properly.
It can perform these actions in 5 to 10 minutes.
But the sleep action works fine.
It happens when I have just flashed the BIOS(to the N-2 version)
Then, I can do as much sleep actions as I want.
But, when I shut down, restart or hibernate, even the sleep action doesn't work anymore.
And when I flash again the BIOS, sleep mode works again.
Etc etc...
To flash the BIOS, I run the .exe available on the hp support website.
Here below, I put the list of the solutions that we already tried unsuccessfully:
- Install a dual boot -> all work on Ubuntu
It seems that it isn't a material trouble
- we took off the BIOS bettery (who is 4 years, may be it's time to be change it) -> But no change in behaviours described above
- Monitoring of values of the registry base
Comparing before and after flashing the BIOS : too much differences to be really effective
Comparing just after flashing the BIOS and just after a long restart : fewer differences but still not effective, but for reg experts maybe...
- Monitoring of Event viewer : nothing in particular

Thanks for your precious help,
Kiran
