Windows 10 Error code 0x204 on Microsoft Remote Desktop on Macbook Pro from Home Wifi

I get the error code 0x204 when trying to remote in to my work machine from my home wifi. I am already connected to my VPN fine. I am able to remote in fine if I connect my computer to my phone hotspot for internet. Also, I have a windows machine that can remote in fine using my home wifi. It seems to be something wrong with my mac.
