Hi all,
I'm encountering strange issue when I'm using Windows 10 built-in VPN.
Setup:
Client:
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise, 1909.
VPN setup: PPTP, MS CHAP v2 enabled, AssumeUDPEncapsulationContextOnSendRule registry set.
RDP Client: MSTSC, RDCMan v2.7
Server:
Windows Server 2012 R2 VM in Azure.
in Group policy, RDP via TCP is allowed.
Issue:
1. Blank Screen after providing credentials.
- when i dont use VPN, i am able to connect to the server and i can see that there is RDP connection event in event viewer.
2. No blank screen issue with AWS VM (Windows Server 2016).
another issue when connected via VPN:
1. Unable to load certain websites.
e.g. https://community.spiceworks.com/
2. unable to load different API of the same website, for example:
rabbit MQ API:
/api/overview OK.
/api/nodes failed.
same issue when using IP address.
I tried all the above using Android 9 and Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, and all are working.
