In Windows Explorer, I have always been able to select multiple files, right-click, and get the properties of that selection. ( I am usually looking for the disk space used by all those specific files.)

In Windows 10, however, I have seen an anomaly. I have a folder on a network share that contains a lot of .pst files. (These are generated by archive searches; they are not being actively used by anyone's Outlook.) If I select 16 or fewer files, I can right-click on them and get the normal menu of choices (including Properties). If I select 17 or more files and right click on that, I get a warning "Opening these files might be harmful to your computer." I don't want to open the files; I just want to get the properties of that group of files. I can go to other network shares and right-clicking selections of 17 or more files behaves normally.

Is there a way to correct this behavior and view the properties of a large selection of .pst files?

Thank you very much.
