Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is hidden in Device Manager.

Currently cannot get my laptop (Windows 10) to recognise my iPhone (XS). I have tried absolutely everything but after second download of USB files and numerous iTunes re-downloads, they become hidden and greyed out under Device Manager. I have updated drivers but remain greyed out/hidden. Windows & IOS are up-to-date. Phone works perfectly fine on old laptop so I know it's not the phone and the connectors. Grateful for advice that's more than the basic Apple advice. Many thanks.
