Hello,
I get the following error when I try to access my Windows Defender: IT administrator has limited access to some areas of the app.
I don't have any 3rd party virus detection tool, except for the Malwarebytes tool (which does not cause conflicts with Windows Defender usually) and I am using Windows 10 Education. My account is Administrator.
I have tried almost everything there is to try (see url below for some steps i have already tested):
- How to Fix “Your IT Administrator Has Limited Access” Error
I can't:
- restart the service for Windows Defender
- update windows via windows updates
- turn on real-time detection
- customize any of the options on Virus and Threat detection as they are grayed out
Is there anything I can do to make Windows Defender behave?
