Have a test VM which recently joined AAD and enrolled to MDM (Intune). In Intune we have an app definition for Microsoft Office (including Teams) targetting groups which this VM is a member of.
However after a couple of days, the installation process for this computer is still labeled "pending". It has already gone through a few rounds of restarts due to Windows 10 update ring policy to get patched up to date. It looks as though (I don't know from Intune side or client side) it's pretty satisfied to have only installed Microsoft Intune Management Extension and Google Chrome (which we packaged as required for the groups), and left it as that.
What are some (unnoticed) barriers that keep the installation in pending state perpetually? Never seen this problem with any other enrolled computer since last year.
