What's the minimum requirements needed to add an Office 365 account in Windows? On one Windows 10 Home Edition computer we're trying to add an Office 365 account. When this person unpacked the computer and ran through the OOBE she couldn't add her work account but could add her personal account. Later we went in to add her work account but after adding the account we are getting the message:

Something went wrong

Your account was not set up on this device because device management could not be enabled. This device might not be able to access some resources, such as Wi-Fi, VPN, or email.

The Office 365 account belongs to a tenant that only has free Office 365 Azure AD, not the Premium P1 or P2. We can add an account if we use another (my) account in another tenant which does have AAD Premium P1.

Right now this person signs into her computer with her personal Microsoft account then connects MS Office desktop apps to her Office 365 services. She is fine with this but would really like to log on using her Office 365 credentials to this computer. Do we need to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro? Does she need to have AAD P1? Both?
