I apologize as I'm unable to post images (as I'm not verified yet).

In older Edge/IE we could suppress this warning with a simple registry entry. Warning we are seeing now when clicking on a link says:

---

This site is trying to open (application name).

http://www.websitename.com wants to open this application

Check Box - Always open links of this type in the associated app

---

The registry entry we used in the past to suppress this was located in:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ProtocolExecute\%ourappname%

DWORD: WarnOnOpen set to "0".

This would completely prevent the warning from launching when associated to our application.

It appears that v81 doesn't honor this IE location in the registry, which is fine, but is there another location or GPO that we can leverage to completely suppress the warning?

Assuming when a user checks the box to "
Always open links of this type in the associated app" it has to be storing that data somewhere. If there is no GPO, can we get that information and roll it out to all other users?

I would certainly appreciate any help you guys can offer.

Thank you!
