I have recently bought a laptop which is running Windows version 10s. It's not actually shown in the dropdown list so I have had to post as if it is Windows 10 full version. I have received an alert that I have to run a quick scan. I have tried to do so on several occasions but given up because it is takes so long. As 10s does not allow me to download any other virus protection I can't use AVG etc which I have always used in the past on other computers. There are also no settings to adjust in Defender so I can't choose between quick and full scans. Am I missing something here and if so can someone point me to where the settings are. Also, does anyone have any idea how to speed up the quick scan which is anything but quick!!!! Many thanks.
