Windows 10 Install Latest Cumulative Update on Win10 Version 1607

Hi All,

Is it possible to install the latest cumulative updates for Windows 10 version 1607 if it's not the LTSB edition? The Microsoft Update Catalog site lists them for both Windows 10 and Windows 10 LTSB, but when I try to install any past March 2019 the installation fails and rolls back after restart. I was able to install the latest servicing stack update, which is honestly more than I expected.

I recognize the easiest thing to do would be to update Windows 10 to a later version but I've been asked to rule this out first.
