Played around with this and put the resetting Spotlight settings in the middle. But no progress.
Looked at Windows Spotlight/Lock screen
Changing the app from calendar to weather did not change anything.

Disable all the non Microsoft programs No help
Tried reinstalling Windows 10. Looked OK until computer was added to the domain but another same type of computer on the domain does not have the problem.
