I have received a virus warning and, having used the program for a long time, clicked restore. I am now unable to remove the item from the allowed threats.
I believe the item was, in any case, a false positive, but am not certain of this.

I believe the item was, in any case, a false positive, but am not certain of this.
I have found this procedure
- Press Windows key + I together to open Settings.
- Click on Update & Security > Windows Security.
- Click on Open Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.
- Click on Threat history.
- Under Quarantined threats, click on See full history.
- Click the item that you want to remove and click on Remove. Step 4 is not possible, though, as there is no "Threast History" option that I can see and in the "Allowed Threats" and "Protection History" options There is no option to remove the item from the allowed threats.
