Windows 10 Getting Access denied when using ftype for windows media player

HI,

I am trying to set windows mwdia player as default app for .mp4. I am using the cmd

ftype WMP11.AssocFile.MP4="C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe"

But I am getting access is denied. I tried CMD in elevated mode too.

Is there any other way I can associate filetype to WMP. ]
