Hi Folks

I posted the below in the office forum and it was suggested to post here:

So I'm working from home (connecting to work via DirectAccess Connection) and sending a weekly email merge from Word to Outlook to c.2000 employees.

Each week, the email merge randomly misses some lines from the email merge and does not send, i.e no record in sent items even though the record exists in Word Mailings > Preview etc.

Things I have checked:

1) Excel data file has no blank rows

2) All emails addresses in the excel data are lower case and formatted correctly

3) I'm not using next record, since I am not merging labels

4) Using Mailings > Preview, all records exist (i.e the total number of letters is the same and I can spot check correctly

To send the email I load outlook and enter a specific Outlook profile to ensure the emails are sent from a generic email address. Then I go off line, hit finish and mail, choosing email all records. Then I wait for the c.2000 emails to load into the outbox so I can check the formatting and accuracy is correct.

Then I go back online (using airplane mode toggle) and wait for the emails to start sending which it does at a rate of 1 per second.

Next day I get handfuls of emails from employees stating they haven't received my update. If I sort by To: in Outlook and scroll to their address, there is no email there yet they existed in the data file.

Appreciate any help you can offer.

Thanks
