After installing Edge onto devices in our environment the Adobe Flash Player displays Version: 0.0.0.0. Users can click the Check for update button on the components page and Edge will download the latest version. Sites that we whitelist via GPO work properly after that.
Our users are dissatisfied that they are required to go through these additional steps. We've verified that SCCM has applied the latest Microsoft updates for flash and have downloaded and installed packages directly from Adobe for the PPAPI version - yet Edge refuses to acknowledge that Flash is installed.

- Is there a way to that I can force Edge to update those components on startup or via some other command line?
- Why does it not report that Flash is installed when we've applied all Microsoft Flash updates?
