Maybe, a bit tardy mentioning this... (for a long time this was not in Edge GA.)
Edge 83.0.478.37 > Settings > Appearance and there is a toggle-switch for Show share button. This gives the ability to have
on the toolbar, where it belongs, in the 1st place.
