Windows 10 Default user auto set at logon prompt

I need to configure Windows 10 PC's on our network for the default end user - for example Joe Smith. If I use switch user or logout the current user and logon after I logout the name defaults to mine or the last user on the PC. I recall in Windows 7 the default user would automatically fill in after any user logged in and out or rebooted. Any thoughts?
