Hi all,

we had some troubles in the last time and in both cases it turned out that it was related to link power management (LPM). It took lots of tests and searching for possible reasons, but in the end - we could fix them by following suggestions which belongs to the advanced power plan settings:

  1. Turn off USB 3.0 Link Power Management
  2. Turn off Link Power Management for SATA devices (storahci, iaStor*)
  3. (Turn off PCI express Link Power Management)

The settings mentoined in 1) and 2) are usually hidden and must be "activated" by modifying the registry. Power Management was already in scope when starting the investigation and checked the power options - of course, we cannot re-think about things we cannot see there.

Now we ask ourselfs if there are additional Link Power Management settings we should know (except those that can already be seen in the advanced power plan settings). Do you have any suggestions? Have much thanks in before.
