I have recently had to install a Windows 10 1909 using an ISO that I got sometime ago through the media creation tool.
The installation appears to be successful but the displays of some apps are very different from those of my main PC which has had the various builds applied using the keep files options during updates. An example is the settings app in relation to the OS build info.
I had been accustomed to viewing the OS build info from the item in the Security & Update choice from the main Settings app menu. This however does not appear in the recently installed instance. Here you have to go to the System sub menu and then go to the About before you can get the info required.
Is this a deliberate choice, it must make it difficult for those intrepid YouTubers who try to create videos in the How To do something as they fail to show what the newer installee sees when they try to follow along.
