so i got a laptop 3 years ago. Dell inspiron 7567 with windows 10. 2 years ago after an update my wired headphones started to not work corectly. i tried a lot of things and i figured out 2 things that work for me, but every method has a flow.
first method is to reinstal the Realtek Audio driver (that was first instaled automatically by windows) and than to restart my laptop. when i restart my laptop the headphones are working until i plug them out. If i plug them in after that, the headphones are not working anymore and i have to reinstal the driver again and restart the laptop to use the headphones again.
the second method that i found after instaling a lot of drivers(from dell and from older realtek drivers) is a driver that is not 100% compatible with my laptop. instaling this driver will make headphons to work everytime i plug them in, but they lack bass. when i use the speakers with this driver, the sound is low and lack the bass because the main speaker does not work(due to incompatible driver)
so i am stuck with restart everytime for good sound quality or work but with low sound quality.
what can i do to get rid of this anoying problem that hount me for 2 years
(sorry for my bad english)
