I was recently checking start up task within task manager and noticed a program called cmtray and was wondering what it could possibly be. After some researching I still could not find a answer some said it was malware and some said it was safe. Overall, I am very cautious when using my computer I scanned my files with multiple antivirus's and found nothing. Along with that I have not downloaded any sketchy programs only ones from reputable sources. My computer does not show any signs of having a virus yet I know that it could be some form of spyware. I was hoping that someone could tell me the purpose of the program and if it is malware. Lastly, I disabled it from launching during start up but could not find its file location and thus not delete. So, if it is malware if someone could instruct me on how to remove it.
