Hello all,
We have a laptop that came with Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016 on it. Recently we installed the latest version of one of our apps on it, that requires .NET 4.8, however, .NET 4.8 always fails to install. It has another issue where we can't type anything in the Windows search bar.
From searching on these issues, both appear to be due to the system being behind on updates. Winver shows build 1607.
If I go to Windows Update, it says the system is already up to date. Next, I tried manually downloading and installing the May 2020 update, but, the setup stops and says Windows 10 cannot be installed on the computer. So I'm not sure how to get updates on the system.
All of our other systems are Windows 10 Pro. Is it possible to convert this system to non-LTSB? Or, at least, get updates installed on it?
Thanks
Maurice
