Hi Folks,
I recently bought a new Surface with Windows 10 Pro, so I could join it to my domain. When I log on to it as a domain user, I do not get my domain profile; I get a temporary profile. This is odd and I can't explain why that is happening, since a large number of other domain features seem to work, like DFS and "Home Directory", and of course I have access to printers, for example.
I have repeatedly deleted extraneous profiles from HKLM/Software/Microsoft/WindowsNT/CurrentVersion/ProfileList, and C:\Users\..., but it does no good. Windows 10 is determined not to find my profile on the Domain Controller.
I'm not sure where to look to discover why this is happening, and more importantly what to do to stop it. Please help me debug this behavior.
Thanks for the help,
Chris.
