Windows defender scan found a trojan titled Trojan:XML/Phish.J!eml

I removed the file but I realized why does windows 10 save my email attachments on my local computer? And also how can I disable that feature?


Also considering this happened does this mean that a hacker can send me an email with a virus and I could get the virus without ever opening the email?
