I am having a problem with a particular device being upgraded in-place via SCCM from Win10 1803 to 1909. The upgrade process hangs at the same spot.
The hang starts in the setupact.log in the middle of a series of entries like this:
VERBOSEENUM: Will not enumerate reparse point C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\History.
It goes through a series of these types of messages for a couple user profiles fairly quickly. Then it comes to a specific user profile and only gives:
2020-07-01 15:29:43, Info MIG VERBOSEENUM: Will not enumerate reparse point C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Application Data
2020-07-01 15:29:43, Info MIG VERBOSEENUM: Will not enumerate reparse point C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Application Data
2020-07-01 15:34:34, Info MIG VERBOSEENUM: Will not enumerate reparse point C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\History
2020-07-01 15:34:34, Info MIG VERBOSEENUM: Will not enumerate reparse point C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\History
Rather than taking a few seconds to go from Application Data to History, it takes 5 minutes. And it hangs here.
I have done a clean boot before kicking off the upgrade, ran the SFC, rebuilt WMI repositories, and run a Windows Update Agent fixer tool.
Is this indicative of a corrupt profile?
