Windows 10 Virtual Desktop doesnt work with Excel 2019

I like the new Virtual Desktop functionality but when i use Excel across multiple desktops, Windows always takes me back to the desktop i first opened Excel in. And i cant have Excel open in two virtual desktops. Is this a known issue? limitation?
