Dear Sir/Madam,

How's your day been?,

Weird as it sound to you?, as I even had ticked enabled all in the group policy settings questions relating to Windows Defender and still weird nasties went through undetected. I didn't know somebody with a malicious intent was giving away free files which had something nasty hidden in that file to cause maximum damage to whoever downloads and installs that file and laughed about it. In Windows 7 i had many bad encounters with trojans and or weird nasties and M.S.E and W.D either one when used simply just couldn't handle it and i ended up having to reinstall Windows 7 back many times. I had to then switch over to A.V.G 9.0 free antivirus to avoid having to reinstall Windows 7 back from my next bad encounter, and on my next bad encounter A.V.G 9.0 had shown an alert on the screen and my computer survived. As it is in my view? , when there is for example 10 malicious files downloaded and scanned by W.D and the end detection results varied when compared to another free antivirus which actually detected all and couldn't be explored further. By mistake i allowed the detected file by pressing the allow button for that detected file by Windows Defender and then installed it , after thinking it was a genuine mistake and ended up locked out. Other scenarios was that i was able download a malicious file which was infected and it bypassed Windows Defender even after doing a custom scan didn't cause an alert either and as soon as i continued on with that file and noticed afterwards the damages coming out. To me Windows Defender in 2020 had still failed equally as it did back in Windows 7 ,as i suspect it didn't keep up with the high amount of virus definitions as its rivals. I worry while using Windows Defender in watching yet another malicious downloaded file pass all detections and then get locked out as before.. The only way you can improve Windows Defender properly is by not slacking off daily and always be alert to the newer/latest threats that Windows Defender never even heard of or understand any of it. There are so many weird kinds of Trojans out there showing up every second which easily bypasses Windows Defender very easily and this is just one area Windows Defender needs to improve on. It's no good doing security updates once a week as that's way too late, other free antiviruses are even updating daily and this would explain why they are ahead?. I'd like for you to send me your results after testing Windows Defender against the worst kind of a trojan one can get and I'm sure you'd get the results exactly as your rivals claim that to be. While you claim Windows Defender is on top of the game and that my friend is not quite there yet. Your rival Kaspersky whom you hate the most for whatever reason has created a proper free antivirus on day one ,while Windows Defender and M.S.E has continued to fail me from when i had used either one from back in Windows 7 up till July 2020.Windows Defender in July 2020 still needs further testing after many infected files can still get downloaded and installed quite easily without an alert on the screen. No other free antivirus has this kind of problem after going through each one by one, after i noticed no trojans/nasties in my computer had won after using another free antivirus. To be on the safe side I've got a program installed called SMADAV?, as a second line of defense and hope my computer can survive my next encounter and hope this SMADAV program does the job which Windows Defender doesn't do...Bye
