Windows 10 Skype sometimes doesn't automatically start in Windows 10 2004

I have upgraded to windows 10 2004 and found that Skype For Business in Office 2016 sometimes does not start when i log on.

I rebuilt the PC using 2004 and office 2016 and found the same behaviour. I uninstalled and re-installed office too.

I have resorted next to uninstalling Office 2016 and installing Office 2019, yet still in Windows 10 2004 it does not always load skype for business every time I log on.

What can I do to get it working again? This was never something I personally experieced with 1909.
