Unable to update Windows Defender in Windows 8.1

Hello,

I am unable to open Windows Defender.

Also I am unable to install the latest update to Windows Defender through Windows Update (KB2267602 (Version 1.325.745.0).

I tried downloading through Microsoft website and installing manually but it does not work either.

Please help.
