Hello!
I have windows 10.
I was notified by windows security of a threat upon opening a file from an external device. Soon after which it was placed in quarantine. After viewing the options, I selected the option 'remove' and NOT 'allow'. However, few minutes later did I realize I had apparently 'allowed' the threat!
I immeadiately got onto selecting the option 'remove' once again, the only option if I am not mistaken (no quarantine option).
And now in my protection history, I am left with this, as seen in the image.
Does 'threat removed or restored' mean that it is no longer present in the system?
or it is still lingering behind?
It is to be noted that the affected file as seen in the image is that located in on the USB, and I had made no copy if it. I only attempted opening it.
I will definitely need some help in solving this matter.
