Hello,
I've seen various threads about this but none updated recently and none that help solve my issue. On numerous workstations running Windows 10 Version 1909 within our environment after new definitions get released for Windows Defender, something causes the MsMpeng.exe to consume absurd amounts of CPU causing the laptop to grind to a halt. I've had a ticket open with MS for a couple months now and the most I get out of them is to try and exclude this file or that file, which hasn't helped the problem at all. Has anyone found a way to resolve this or had any luck at all in dealing with this? Thank you in advance.
