It happened about a week ago that I noticed that the Windows Security notification in the system tray stopped appearing, at that time it didn't bother me much for I thought it might be a problem that will go away as I restart my laptop, but sadly it didn't.
The problem became apparent as when I opened the Windows Security app to do a manual quick scan, I found completely blank screen:
This made me worried, also going to the settings option and checking on in Security Providers, gave me more worries as it says No providers in all cases:
Before coming here I tried all possible suggestions as mentioned on the webpage The Windows Club - Security at a glance page in Windows Security is blank in Windows 10 except the last few options that require me to do a clean install, which I want to keep as the last choice.
None of the methods that I tried seemed to work.
Thing I noticed Microsoft Defender Antivirus Service is missing in the list of services as I tried to do one of the suggestions on the webpage.
Can you help me out, cause I'm really stressed and worried about it right now, as I have bought this laptop only 3 months back, it comes with many pre installed apps that I don't want to go away with the reset.
