I was attempting to set up a virtual machine of Kali Linux a few weeks ago for a course I'm taking, and accidentally ended up opening up the disk image within file explorer. This caused the drive to appear under the "My PC" tab. Even after selecting the ejection prompt and removing it, Windows Security continues to pop up false positive warnings about tools within Metasploit and other related tools. Is there a way to fully cut off the constant false positive pings or will I have to continue allowing them on device? (File location for every ping leads back to the now removed disk image).

(Allowing it to take action ends up with Windows Security crashing or just failing it entirely).
