Hi Everyone.
I already have McAfee Total Protection running on my Win10 Home. But always being cautious, occasionally, I download msert.ext and do a full scan. Yesterday, it found 491 files infected :O
I have NOT downloaded anything and both McAfee or Windows Defender have never found any issues on my system. Why has msert.exe version 1.335.68.0 found 491 infection suddenly? Are they False Positives?
The weird thing is that after 5 hours running when it was finished, it ignored the 491 infected files and stated that Msert didn't find any issues with my system and the scan was successful :O
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue or non-issue?
Thanks
