Hi,
Recently, we have commissionned TS on a Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition
to allow remote users to access local applications through Citrix. Both TS
and Citrix are still in grace period.
Everything seems smooth except for 1 particular user. In an attempt to
resolve the issue, I changed TS licensing from per device to per user but it
is still the same for that user.
Regardless of the client, that user always faces the same problem. Whenever
he wants to log on to the application, he gets back an error message saying
"The terminal server has exceeded the maximum number of allowed connections."
The weirdest thing about this problem has two sides:
1 - The application uses icd-tcp protocol. Thus, it doen not even comes
near that two simultaneous RDP connections constraint.
2 - At the moment of his logon attempt, there is absolutely ZERO ica-tcp or
rda-tcp active OR DISCONNECTED sessions. I made sure of this for the latter
by setting the time for a resetting a disconnected session to 1 minute.
Now i reiterate, this happens only to one uers regaredless of the PC he
logon from.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks
