Following reports earlier this month suggesting recent departures would precede a new round of layoffs, Reuters is reporting that BlackBerry has laid off about 250 workers at its Waterloo, Ontario headquarters. "This is part of the next stage of our turnaround plan to increase efficiencies and scale our company," a BlackBerry spokeswoman told reporters.
