I have a Dell Lat D820 which i just upgraded from XP to Vista Business.

I use the laptop on a docking port. With XP and on the docking station it
would automatically find the LAN connection and disconnect the wireless card.
When i undock the laptop it would automatically connect the wireless card and
disconnect the Lan card. Under VISTA it will not do the same? I have to
manually
turn on and off which ever card i need and if i dont both will be on and i
dont
know which it is using. Does anyone know how to set it up the way i had it on
XP to auto set as needed?? HELP

Re: Auto Network Card setting not found??

I'm thinking the software for this automatic connect and disconnect was set
up with software that came from Dell. Go to Dell's website and hopefully
the support section will have manuals you can download for both the computer
and the docking station, which may tell how it was set up. You might also
search for Vista compatible drivers for both.
