HP is known for its computers, but the company is looking to continue its expansion in the mobile device market with the addition of a Galaxy Note-like phablet to its current lineup.
The company is reportedly preparing to launch a 5.5-inch device that could feature specs which would rival that of the Galaxy Mega 6.3 expected for release next week. If that’s true, expect a price tag around $400.
It’s no secret that the PC market is quickly disappearing. People want smaller devices, and HP knows that. It’s a smart move, but only time will tell if they’ll be able to compete in an already over-saturated market where even well-known competitors like HTC are struggling to survive.
