The unannounced Galaxy S5 smartphone is reportedly going to pack a fast-charging Li-ion battery that will offer a bigger charge than its predecessor. At 2900mAh, the Galaxy S5’s rumored battery would have slightly more battery juice than the Galaxy S4, which has a 2600mAh battery. Even so, the Galaxy S5 battery is said to be about the same size of the Galaxy S4’s battery, Phone Arena reports, as the new battery would be able to store 20% more energy without seeing any size modifications.
