One of the most anticipated phones of the year is the Samsung Galaxy S5, a device that will likely go on sale in April or May of this year. There’s another device that will apparently be going on sale this April, and will be in competition with the Galaxy S5. That device is the Pantech Vega Iron 2.
Some of you might remember Pantech for being a company that was on the brink of bankruptcy a while ago. Since then the company has had huge success with their Vega Secret Note and Vega Secret Up.
The first “Vega Iron” was released in April 2013, and it wasn’t really given that much attention. Nevertheless, Pantech is more confident than ever with their Vega Iron 2 – so confident that they’re aiming to take on one of the biggest phone manufacturers in the world.
The device will reportedly be released to 3 carriers in Korea. As far as specifications of the device go, we won’t know exactly what’s under the hood of the device until later this year, but it will feature a similar design as the first model and have a fingerprint scanner like the Pantech Secret series does.
