Last week, we saw a leak of the Geeksphone Revolution, and today they released more details. The Revolution will be a dual-OS smartphone running both Android and Firefox. Android will be the default OS, but users will be able to switch to Boot2Gecko by Mozilla using their own MultiOS technology. You can use another ROM of choice in place of Mozilla, plus you will stay updated thanks to their 1-click OTA system. Boot2Gecko is just a brand name and operates the same as Firefox, but due to the fact that “Firefox” can’t be licensed to independent manufacturers, that is the name Geesksphone chose.
As far as specs go, it has a 4.7-inch (unknown resolution) IPS display, a 1.6GHz Dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD for expanded storage, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, and 2,000mAh battery.
