The much awaited Motorola Moto G has been launched in India and will be available on India’s most popular e-commerce site, Flipkart, for sale from tomorrow. At the moment, the phone has been released in Malaysian, Dubai and Australian markets.
The Moto G with a Dual-SIM option, carries a price tag of Rs 12,499 ($200) for the 8GB model and Rs 13,999 ($225) for the 16GB model. The device is being offered with other special offers such as Free Flipkart eBook vouchers, Rs. 1000 off on clothing, 70% off on colorful Moto G shells, as well as a chance to get 100% cash-back.
The Moto G which was announced late last year comes with a 4.5-inch 720p LCD TFT display, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, 2,070mAh battery. The phone is said to run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but will receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update soon. It’s also worth mentioning that the device doesn’t support an LTE connection, instead it supports 3G only.
