Qualcomm has released a new lockscreen app, Snapdragon Glance (Beta), for devices powered by their Snapdragon chips that will help users access information a little quicker and easier. This is achieved by presenting users with notifications, calendar information, weather updates, and quick access to contacts and apps.
In order to make use of the new Snapdragon Glance lockscreen app, you need to have the Snapdragon BatteryGuru app installed. The BatteryGuru app was designed to help deliver longer battery life for Snapdragon powered devices. The app also collects data in the background about how a user interacts with their device. It is this database of information that the new Glance app builds on to deliver relevant content to a user’s lockscreen.
