NVIDIA’s next generation of mobile processor, the K1, has shown up in the AnTuTu Benchmark site powering a new NVIDIA TegraNote tablet device. The K1 packs 192 gpu cores with CUDA technology, which NVIDIA says will make it capable of outperforming an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. In the data submitted to AnTuTu, this particular device was only running at up to 2.1GHz, slightly slower than the projected 2.3GHz speed NVIDIA is expected to use for production devices that utilize the quad-core chip. The TegraNote P1761 is listed as having a 1920×1200 resolution screen powered by 2GB of RAM operating Android 4.4.2.

In some comparison data, the tested device lands in between the original TegraNote device, model P1640, which was powered by a Tegra 4 processor and a K1 prototype the company built for the unveiling announcement. This latest device is probably testing a tad below the earlier prototype as NVIDIA continues to tune it for more mainstream use. The device still appears to be on track to dominating other competitors in the market.
